Dana has over a decade of experience helping people build more deeply informed understandings of how food, energy, and their synergistic relationship help our bodies to thrive and survive. She earned her RD credentials at San Jose State University before beginning her career at Regional Medical Center, where she worked with patients undergoing treatment for chronic and acute medical conditions like diabetes, heart disease, and high blood pressure. Dana later opened her own practice, where she specialized in weight loss, hypertension, cardiovascular conditions, and eating disorders. She has further experience working in the Hillsborough Schools and the San Jose Unified School District, where she overhauled lunch and nutrition programs for elementary students. She is a member of the American Dietetic Association, San Jose Peninsula District; the California Dietetic Association; and Nutrition Entrepreneurs.
